CTelks0202We are the proud Elks of the State of Connecticut, some 21,900 strong and increasing in membership for the past two years. Our Order’s presence in the State of Connecticut consists of 35 lodges in four Districts beginning with Hartford #19 through Wethersfield/Rocky Hill #2308. We proudly boast on having 17 lodges in our state reaching 100 years of service in Elkdom and assisting our communities. We are one of the six New England States and are the Southernmost of the six. We boast of many and varied notable people and inventions across our state since way before our State joined the Union in 1788.

The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3 million in college scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors. The Most Valuable Student scholarships are open to any graduating high school senior. Legacy Awards and Emergency Educational Grants are available only to the children of Elks. The application process and deadlines vary for each of the programs. All applications must go through a local Elks Lodge before reaching the Elks National Foundation office. Contact your high school counselor for more information or your local Elks Lodge.
