Bob has been a member of the Elks for more than 18 years and has played vital roles in volunteering as a waiter’s team captain. He is a member of Team E and will be working and coordinating the Sunday lunch program. He is also a member of the House Committee and will be instrumental in providing assistance in the day-to-day operations of our lodge with a keen focus on kitchen/ballroom operations.
Bob also brings more than 14 years of volunteerism experience, including being a member of the Torringford Volunteer Fire Department, where he was involved with many successful fund-raising activities. He also has more than 25 years of experience with the food/catering business, owned/operated a SUBWAY franchise and has held key leadership roles in engineering and manufacturing in the aerospace business for the past 21 years.
Bob is currently employed by Goodrich Aerospace of West Hartford as a program manager responsible for executing all engineering and manufacturing operations in the design, development and assembly/test of Electronic Engine Control Systems on military helicopters. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Hartford and an MBA from Western New England College.
Bob has been a resident of Torrington for more than 40 years and has a beautiful daughter, Kristina Marie, who is 8 years old. When not volunteering at the Elks, Bob enjoys hiking and being outdoors with Kristina, NASCAR racing and HAM radio. At times you might find him covering the streets of Hartford as an EMT caring for individuals in need of pre-hospital care.

Rich has been a lifelong resident of the Northwest Corner, growing up in Thomaston and living in Torrington for the past 30 years. Rich has been a member of Elks BPOE #372 for 26 years, and has been an active member for about the last 10 years. He started out as a waiter captain for Team J and then took on the responsibility of the Ballroom Booking Agent in Bruce Strawinski’s year. He just relinquished that responsibility to Chef Ann Marie Filippini in the Fall of 2007. Also while the Booking Agent, he coordinated the waiter captains meetings.
Rich is part of the Lodge’s Entertainment Committee, which plans different events for our members. He served on the House Committee for the Past Exalted Ruler Bill Pond and will do the same for incoming E.R. Bob Raleigh.In the retail and wholesale lumber industry for over 39 years, Rich is employed at Miner’s Incorporated in Canton as a salesman. He is presently the president of the Fairways Condominium Association, where he resides. Rich enjoys golf, college basketball, hockey, the Elks and serving the community in any way he can. His wife Linda is a Torrington native and works as a secretary at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Together they have two wonderful sons, Richard and Mark, and a granddaughter, Samantha, with another grandchild due to arrive in May. Rich would like to thank E.R. Mike has been a member of B.P.O.E.
#372 since 1997. He became a waiter
serving with Team J in 2007. He has
also been a member of the House Committee
since December 2008 and a
member of the Kitchen Committee since
2009. He is honored to continue on the
House Committee and to be asked by
ER Tony Roscello to become the new
Inner Guard.
Mike was born and raised in Torrington and has resided in
New Hartford for the past 7 years with his wife Sue and their
daughters Mikayla and Madelyn. Mike is a third-generation
plasterer and is co-owner with his brother of Zordan and Sons,
Wall and Ceiling Contractors in Torrington.
Mike enjoys skiing and is a member of Guest Services at Ski
Sundown in New Hartford. He also enjoys fishing and spending
weekends in Rhode Island with his family.
Mike looks forward to serving Lodge #372 in the coming
years.
