A: Our Main Ballroom comfortably seats up to 300 guests, making it an ideal venue for large wedding receptions, corporate galas, funerals and class reunions in Litchfield County.
A: We provide exclusive, in-house catering through our dedicated Elks Catering Staff for all events.
A: Guests have access to convenient parking directly behind the Elks Lodge at 70 Litchfield Street (this parking lot is accessible from Hungerford Street). There is also additional metered street parking and a spacious municipal lot just a short walk away behind the Torrington Library.
A: Yes, there is a ramp in the rear of the lodge that provides wheelchair access to the ballroom.
A: Yes. The venue features the Hungerford Room Bar—one of the largest full-service bars in the area—as well as a spacious, professional-grade hardwood dance floor equipped for a full band or DJ setup.
A: The rental period is for five (5) hours.
A: No glitter, confetti or confetti-like products are allowed in the ballroom for decorations. No decorations may be attached to the walls or woodwork. No open flames allowed.
A: We are happy to provide a microphone and a media wall for your event! To display your content on the media wall, you will just need to bring your own laptop or media player. Please note that your device must have an HDMI output to connect to our system. Because you know your presentation best, we also ask that you designate someone from your team to manage and run the slideshow or media during the event.
