Dear Fellow Members,

September was a very busy month! We had our annual golf tournament, kicked off our raffle with the booth at the Goshen Fair, held the annual Soc-cer Shoot, and Rocked the Pond with The Pop Rocks. I want to sincerely thank all the volunteers who helped at these events. Without our members stepping up to volunteer, none of these events could happen—please get in-volved! October and November look just as busy!! We need your help!

Now that summer is officially over, it is football season. Don’t forget that our members’ lounge is now open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sundays for football. Feel free to come down, bring some takeout, and watch a couple of games with our volunteer bartenders.

Looking ahead, on October 29, we will be hosting our First Responder appreciation dinner to recognize some of the local volunteers who keep us safe. Please don’t forget to sign up early in the members’ lounge—and sponsor a dinner for a responder if you are able!

Also, please remember to return your raffle tickets and money either by mail or to the bartend-er in the members’ lounge. This is our major fund raising event for the year, and it helps bring in the vital funds we need to support our aging building.

Fraternally,

ER Sarah Lloyd
