ER Sarah Lloyd, right, dropped off the October Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant delivery to Susan B. Anthony Project. These are “just in time” donations supporting domestic violence victims right in our community who are moving into temporary housing. Torrington Elks received a Beacon Grant thru ENF to fund these donations each month from July thru February.

Dear Fellow Members,

Our Lodge depends on members who give their time and lend a hand. Simply put, we cannot keep the Lodge running and hold the events we all enjoy without volunteers. Every helping hand makes a difference, and we need your support to keep these traditions going.

Whether you can spare a little time or would like to take a more active role, please consider getting involved in some way. Helping with ballroom setup, lending a hand during an event either as a waiter or as kitchen support, or staying for cleanup after an event can make a real difference. Another way is to assist with an Elks Program – keep score or rebound at the Hoop Shoot, help review Drug Awareness submissions, or coordinate a community giving event. If you would like to volunteer, please contact me at 860-309-1642.

Thank you to everyone who gives their time and energy to our Lodge. Together, we can keep our events going and continue creating memories for our members, families, and community.

Fraternally,

ER Sarah Lloyd
