Dear Fellow Members,

Summer is officially here, and I hope you’re all enjoying the warm weather! It’s the perfect season for us to come together. I highly rec-ommend checking out the Friday night concert series in Coe Park – it’s a wonderful way to relax, connect with friends, and enjoy the music right from the Elks Lodge front porch! If you’re not a fan of the heat, come enjoy our air-conditioned members’ lounge..

From July 4-9, Brian and I will be heading to Chicago for the Elks Na-tional Convention. I’m incredibly excited to represent our lodge at the daily business meetings and workshops, watch the new Grand Exalted Ruler get in-stalled into office, connect and socialize with fellow Elks, and bring back inspired ideas and fresh energy for the upcoming year. While we are there, we are going to support a Grand Lodge event on Saturday, July 4th, watching the Cardinals play the Cubs. Then, on Tuesday, July 7th, we will support the Connecticut Elk sponsored event to watch the White Sox play against the Red Sox!

Before I close, a quick reminder that our lodge thrives on your support. Please consid-er volunteering whenever you can: your time and dedication truly make a meaningful difference. Our volunteers are helping us at Thursday Night Dinners at the Pond this summer, as members have mentioned that they would like more member events held at the pond. We hope you’ll support these events and please sign up early to prevent event cancellations.

Fraternally,

ER Sarah Lloyd
